When something painful happens with another person, the mind instinctively moves into attack and defense. We assign blame, rehearse the injury, and place someone on a cross. Yet because life is energetic, this act does not bind them; it binds us. What we believe we are doing to another is, in truth, what we are doing to ourselves.

The anger we aim outward remains within us until Love replaces it. Anger never leaves the one who carries it. What we mean to throw outward burns inward first. The reality of our doing something towards another human being has already built more walls than we know.

Pain continues not because the event remains, but because the energy surrounding it has not been released. The cycle of attack and defense is not a moral failure; it is a lesson. Ego requires it. Separation is not sustained by events, but by interpretation. The world we experience is energy, and when anger or hurt is carried in thought, separation is continually rebuilt through meaning.

Forgiveness is a high level of Love. It is not a gesture of goodness; it is an energetic movement capable of healing perception and restoring life to its natural divine order. Everything we experience with other people stays within our light. Nothing leaves its source. Every thought about a person, incident, or event that is not Love becomes a level of pain stored in our awareness.

Pain and suffering are always the loudest energies. They seek renewal through attention. What is not forgiven continues to ask for our attention. Humanity lives largely through incessant thinking, endless self-stories moving from one thought to the next, attaching identity to matter. This uninterrupted narration creates a belief in reality. When harm is perceived, we replay it, revisit it, and store it. The energy is never healed because it is never released. We keep pain alive by weaving the energy into our ideas of life.

Suffering ends when thought changes.

To heal what was experienced in matter, we must heal how it lives in the mind. Forgiveness is the renewal of thought from everything that is not Love back into Love. Going beyond thought and returning to light is the way release occurs.

No one can harm another human being’s Soul. The Soul remains intact, held in God. Harm always occurs within the one who carries it. Suffering arises when Love is absent from the meaning we give to what is happening or has happened.

The world is not asking us to judge or correct others. It is asking us to recognize ourselves in greater light to see our own light reflected rather than obscured by separation.

With depth, we begin to see that there is only one of us here with God, living through a localized experience of consciousness. Life in matter gives us the opportunity to observe how we think and to learn where Love has been withheld.

Our thoughts are the only ideas that live for us.
When Love inhabits them, Heaven becomes present.
When fear inhabits them, suffering appears.

Forgiveness is not an act of weakness.
It is an act of clarity.
It is the moment we step down from the cross
and allow light to move again.

Pain teaches us where Love has been withheld.
Forgiveness restores the flow.
And suffering ends where Love is allowed to return.
